Background Story: Forest’s journey began in the quiet depths of the woods, where he was discovered tied to a tree by a compassionate Good Samaritan. The moment our Executive Director drove out to where he was and laid eyes on him, an unbreakable bond formed. They became instant besties, and Forest expressed his gratitude with a flurry of kisses. He climbed onto her lap, seeking warmth and comfort—a true testament to his loving nature.
Personality Traits:
Big Baby in Yucky Weather: Forest is no fan of inclement weather. Cold? Nope. Snow? Not his thing. Rain? Definitely not. He prefers quick outdoor potty breaks and a swift return to the cozy shelter. After all, who wants wet paws, right?
Toy Enthusiast: On walks, Forest insists on having a toy in his mouth. It’s his signature move! He parades around, showing off his prized possession to anyone who’ll admire it. You’ll often find him strutting like a proud pup with his cool toy.

Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a county license at an additional cost of $17, this fee is cash only. Adoption fees can be done using credit card or cash.
