Ford Terrier Mix Rochester, NY

FORD is a handsome terrier mix who's estimated to be 2 years old. He's good with other dogs and has so far ignored the resident cats at his foster home. He's a big solid 70 lbs and good with all people he meets. We'd say kids 8 and older for him ONLY because he's very bouncy and energetic and could possibly knock small kids over when playing. He loves walks and is overall good with them, but IS a leash puller. He can be mischievous and loves to steal things he shouldn't, so he'd be best in a home where there aren't small things all over the floor (like baby toys, etc) * Ford was rescued heartworm positive and has undergone and completed treatment - he'll need to be retested in 6 months to confirm his negative status,

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip at ~6 months at our clinic,$60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We are still doing application processing virtually since COVID-19 and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there are NO DOGS KEPT AT THE SHOP.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
