Flower Pott Pit Bull Terrier Mix Mount Juliet, TN

From her past foster Flower Pot was picked up from MAS in August. When we first got her she was so underfed she could barely stand for more than a few minutes before needing rest. After a bath and some love and plenty of food Flower Pot flourished into a sweet and athletic dog that loves to run and play in open spaces and is quite the cuddlebug with people. She hops with joy when she is let outside in the morning, loves playing fetch and with squeaky toys, is visibly happy with a nice bone to chew on, and has shown to be great at short walks on a leash. She is comfortable sleeping in a crate and seems just as at home indoors as outdoors.

Flower has shown some a strong inclination to chase after squirrels and rabbits, and unfortunately she sees cats in the same category. She is not goid with other dogs and will need to be the only one in the house .but has never been anything but sweet and civil with people. Finally Flower has shown a tendency to chew on soft plastic or soft wooden things in her area, but usually only when she is bored or shut if for too long. After giving her a nylabone chew toy and bones she hasn't chewed on any furniture for several weeks. She's a good dog and we hope she finds a loving home!
Meet Flower Pott She is a 5 year old brindle Pitbull. Her birthday is 7/24/18. She is about 55 pounds, but will probably gain a little more after being in our care. She was surrendered to Memphis Animal High Kill shelter. We pulled her on the day she was to be put down. It was so sad, but ended happy when we drove off with her! She is good with all She is a middle aged girl and so beautiful and worthy of finding a forever family that will give her the love and care she so deserves.

Flower Pott's adoption fee is $350. This covers vetting, including neuter/spay, shots (rabies, bordetella, and parvo/distemper), heartworm test, dewormer, and will be on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Also is microchipped. She has also had a paroinfluenza vaccine. Flower Pott is heartworm positive and is currently on Doxycycline for 30 days to get ready for her heartworm treatment. She will be spayed AFTER she goes through her heartworm treatment.
