Meet Flora
Flora is a 9 year old female mixed breed. She weighs 53 pounds. Flora was surrendered because she was not getting along with the other animals in her previous home. At the shelter Flora is barrier reactive with other dogs. We have attempted to introduce Flora into doggie playgroups. Each time she has failed her gate greeting which means that at the gate into the yard she was rude to the other dogs that were already in the yard. Because she was acting inappropriately she was not allowed into the play yard. At this time we believe that Flora would do best in a home without other dogs. At the shelter and while on leash, Flora has met a dog-friendly cat and was extremely focused. At this time we believe Flora would do best in a home without cats. We have no information about how Flora behaves around children. We always recommend a meet and greet with any children in the household or children that visit often, such as grandkids.
