Meet Firestone

Firestone is in his element when he's in our off-leash play area, running free, no leash, no worries, lots of tennis balls, ears flapping in the wind. He's loves to run laps through the yard and is a joy to watch.

Firestone has been in a foster home where he is making big progress.

He was found by someone who wanted to help him but could not keep him. The shelter can be very frustrating for young, smart dogs, and Firestone is going through a mouthy stage. It's kind of like a dog version of the terrible twos, and, mercifully, it's a temporary stage quite common in younger "teenage dogs.

We can show you some training tools to help curb his enthusiasm for nibbling on his human friends for attention. He would do best in an adult home with some structure. Daily exercise will be hugely helpful in helping his relax and settle into his new life with you.
