Fiona Terrier Zachary, LA

Fiona is truly the PERFECT dog! She is a 9 year old, 40 pound terrier mix. She is extra sweet and loving. She is very gentle, affectionate, and the perfect mix of frisky & easygoing! Fiona would be a great fit for a single person of all ages OR families with children. She absolutely loves people and gets along with other dogs. Fiona's favorite pastimes include:
Long walks, Exploring the Backyard, Car rides, Naps on the Sofa, Curling up with a Chew Toy, Snuggling with her People.
Fiona has the bad luck of having a family who didn't appreciate what a wonderful dog she was and they seemingly dumped her at the age of 9. She deserves SO MUCH MORE. SOME LUCKY family will find her. She's so ready to find her new furever family & this time it will be one who will luv & adore her for the rest of her life!

Fioana is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped & up-to-date on all vaccines. Her adoption fee is $185. Potential Adopters require a secure/fenced yard for this adoption.

Please note that we are a DUE DILIGENCE adoption organization. Part of our approval process requires, among other things:

* Experienced pet home with verifiable vet references/history preferred, but we realize that everyone has to start somewhere, so all applications will be considered.
*The majority but not all of our pets require a fenced yard.
*Verifiable good veterinary history INCLUDING regular vaccination/visits and Good Heartworm Prevention history is a MUST!
*Adopter must be able to have time to spend with the pup and be able to provide the pup a safe environment to live.
*ALL our dogs are expected to be primarily INSIDE dogs. They MUST sleep inside the home. We truly understand that some folks have working dogs (i.e. farmers, ranchers,etc); however, the majority of our dogs have had a rough life prior to coming to us & we want to make sure that they are showered with LUV & maybe even a bit spoiled for the rest of their lives.

Other facts are also considered, including whether children or other pets are a good fit with the dog.

Must Luv Dogs reserves the right to deny any applications that we don't think are a good fit with the pup. Our first & foremost concern is the dog's best interest. It is our MISSION to place them in a home that is a great fit for their needs for a lifetime of luv & being part of a family.
*We will consider adoptions in any area; however, will do not ship or transport a puppy under the age of 12 mos. We will ONLY transport an adult dog on a transport approved by MLD, at adopter's expense.
Please note that all of our pets are in private foster homes. In order to reduce any stress or confusion for our pups, we require a completed, approved application BEFORE setting up a meeting for any of fur-babies. Alternatively, you are always welcome to come meet any of our pups at one of our regular Adoption Events. NOTE: Must Luv Dogs Rescue doesn't certify the breed. At best, most of the time the dog's breed is a guess based on input from the veterinarian, as well as our extensive experience in rescue.
