Meet Fennel

Fennel is a young male mixed breed.

From his foster mom:
Fennel is a wonderful & calm dog. He can be a little wild, racing through the yard when he goes outside. In the house he is a complete gentleman. He is initially timid with strangers. If you can give him some time, he will be your best friend. Fen is always eager to eat & loves treats. Hot dog cut into treat size worked well when he came into foster care. I haven't found a dog treat that he doesn't want to eat now. He is house trained & crate trained. The crate isn't his favorite place to be. He prefers to be where you are! He has not chewed things that he shouldn't. Except twigs in the yard. He hasn't touched any of the many Nylabones around our home. He won't get on the furniture. He is great with the cats and other dogs in our home. They range from 12 to 60 pounds, male and female. Fen has a submissive personality. He has learned not to jump on the door in anticipation of going out. Fen is smart and will learn whatever you teach him. We are currently working on sit and come. Our time & attention is split between a few pets so we don't work on commands every day. When Fen gets comfortable with people and surroundings, his tail wags his entire body.
