Meet Felix!
This energetic boy came to AHS in October 2023 after his owner was no longer able to care for him. Felix is now ready to find his forever home!

The quickest way to Felix's heart is stuffed toys! There is nothing this pup loves more than a stuffed toy (maybe a good butt scratch) and to run around the yard to play! Even when he goes on walks Felix will take a toy with him wherever and whenever he goes. Felix is very much a "velcro" pup and wants to always be near someone getting cuddles and pets or with someone to play. This two-year old boy does need some work on his basic manners and leash walking but has caught on very quickly with small corrections and the help of treats!
Felix will have to be the only animal in his forever home but has plenty of love to go around to make up for it! As he is very rambunctious and playful, Felix may be too much energy for children not use to energetic dogs. There are times Felix does not recognize quite how big he is and does think of himself as a lap dog even at 77lbs!
