Expo Black Labrador Retriever & Great Dane Mix Richmond, IN

Expo was abandoned by his owners sadly as he was found running and once we found out who he belonged to they said they were moving and did not want him back. Expo is around 5 years old as of 1/24, with an approximate birthday in 8/19/2018, however you wouldn't think he was a day over 2 years old. He is a healthy, boisterous dog with a lot of life left!
He is one smart and energetic dog and he is looking for an active family. He loves playing in the yard and going on walks and hikes with our staff. He is very treat motivated and focuses and learns very quickly. He needs a fully fenced (at least 6' tall) yard where he can run around and play. He has jumped our fence before, however he will come around and wait at the door for us to let him back in! Expo is a clever, goofy, happy dog who will be sure to always keep a smile on your face. Expo does great with training, he just needs consistency and he will make someone a great companion!
He seems to be ok with dogs, though a Meet & Greet is required. We have noted he seems to do much better with female dogs. He absolutely loves his toys as they keep him playful and busy and keeps his mind stimulated. He keeps his kennel very clean and has never had an accident. He seems to love kids and he did live with one. But he is very boisterous so older kids may be better. We have a lot of cats here and he doesnt mind them if they don't move but once they start running, it's game on so his home should be cat free. Expo takes care of any rodents that find their way to our play yard. Expo is a great dog and is anxiously awaiting a forever home of his own.
Expo is Neutered, Heartworm Negative, Fully Vaccinated, Wormed, Flea Treated and Micro chipped
This will be his second year in a shelter, and he deserves to be in a loving forever home for the rest of his life!
