Emmitt and Smokey Basset Hound Mix Knoxville, TN

Smokey (female - dark) and Emmitt (male- light), go together like peanut butter and jelly. These two bonded beauties are such a joy to their foster family. Both of these babies love to be with people, children, other dogs and even cats. You may have notice adorable Smokey is a pint size version of a mascot for a college team that prefers to be called Big Orange. She loves to be vocal when playing, nudging her humans and other dogs to get up and let's go outside to play. Smokey loves a game of "hid and get on my foster mom's bed", just to see if she will play for a while.

Emmitt, the loveable sidekick, is a goofball who will plop down on your feet, when he wants some love!! His foster mom believes Emmit has a little husky in him, with the blue eyes and he likes to "talk" when he is excited. If you take a moment to scratch his belly, and tell him, "All Done", Emmit will give you a "pep talk" to come back and scratch just one more time.

These 2 low riders have been together for 5 years and are both very well behaved, sweet and lovable. They get along with everyone and seem to meet "no strangers". They are potty trained and have already mastered the doggie door. They are great car riders and professional nappers. This perfect pair are waiting on their forever home, together.
