Meet Emma
Emma is beautiful, affectionate and perfect!
Our rescue partner sent this amazing dog to us after the local shelter had called them for help.  7 year old Emma arrived immediately after having a mass removed from her right rear leg. She has been the absolute sweetest and easiest dog from the get-go. She moved right in with three other dogs and made herself at home on the couch, on the bed and always with her foster people. She is house trained and knows some basic commands. She enjoys going on walks and doesn’t even mind when her car rides end up at the vet, and she has been to the Vet many times. Sadly, Emma had a mass on her shoulder and the results from the first mass removed came back as cancer. Emma had another surgery to remove the new mass and to get better margins on her leg.  She has been a perfect patient and even likes to greet everyone when she visits her doctors. Unfortunately, because the cancer can come back Emma will require regular visits to her vet to monitor for more growths. In the meantime, life is great, happy, fun and full of love for sweet Emma.
