Emeline Mixed Breed Portland, ME

The amazing Emeline is looking for her forever folks!

Emeline is:
-Approximately between 2-3yo and 65lbs
-chocolate lab (mix?) spayed female
-dog-friendly (she's exceptionally dog friendly!)
-kid-friendly (prefer over the age of 5.. she loves to do gentle nibbles with her teeth on those she loves… her foster mom is working on that!)
-incredibly loving and affectionate
-loves to sleep in bed with her humans (this is a must for this girl)
-does well walking on a leash
-would be best with moderately active folks (won’t be a big-time hiking dog)
-will need people who are home most of the day or are able to be in and out throughout
-silly, sweet, and laid-back (with the occasional full-fledged Zoomie thrown in!)
-loves to play fetch for a few minutes and then will be a total couch potato

If you’ve followed her story, you know that Emeline has made a truly AMAZING recovery since we took her in this past June. She’s gained over 30lbs and recovered from sarcoptic and demodectic manges and severe GI parasitism. She likely lived in someone’s backyard her entire 4 years of life… before she was dumped on the side of the road in rural Texas. This girl has a truly wonderful temperament. She will need patient and loving adopters who realize she’s still adjusting to living as a pet dog. She looks to her humans for guidance and direction and is going to be an absolutely WONDERFUL life companion for a lucky person!
