4/15 update from another Underdog volunteer who watched Ember

"We had the most amazing houseguest this weekend! Ember is a sweetheart who is ready for her forever home where she can continue to gain confidence through a sense of security & stability. She has so much love to give!
She can be a bit timid at first but it doesn't take her long to warm up to anyone. She loves affection but doesn't demand it. She was quiet and well behaved in our home. She didn't show much interest in playing inside, preferring to lay on the couch and accept all the petting & belly rubs she can get, but she is always ready for a stroll outside or a leisurely trip spent sniffing in the yard.
This dog would be welcome back to our place any time but we wouldn't be sad to hear that she finds an adoptive home where she can shine her brightest.
Ember is amazing on paper but you have to meet this dog in person to really see how special she is, inside and out. Ember continues to be an extremely pleasant addition to our home. She's gaining confidence daily and it's so fun to see her wiggly 2 step dance when she's excited. Ember is a delight in the car and extremely flexible as we've taken her to hotels while vacationing.

They have two resident dogs and I'm pretty popular with them too. I have "house privileges. Basically, that means I'm trustworthy loose in the house. I'm not destructive and I'm house trained. Uh, obvi. Who isn't?!

I do have some fear and trust issues but like to assume most people and dogs are friendly. My foster mom can tell you more about me if you're interested. I hope you are.

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 9mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $350. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $400. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.
