Did You Adopt Eddie - Hospice?

Meet Eddie - Hospice

Meet poor sweet Eddie. He was found in horrible condition and immediately taken to the vet by his caring shelter staff. Eddie stood patiently for 1.5 hours while he was shaved down and mats were cut out. A tumor was found and the labs showed that is was highly likely to be malignant. The vet suspects he has more thoughout the inside of his body but can't give a timeline based on history since he doesn't know the timeline for the tumor. If it developed in a month he might have a month less. If it developed in a year he might have a year. No real prognosis. Certainly not a long term thing. Hopefully Eddie will have a year or two left.

Eddie needs to be the only dog in the home. He does not like other dogs and we need to keep him calm and comfy. Same with cats, unfortunately. But if you are open to taking in a super snuggly sweet old man, Eddie is your guy. We know it's not easy to open your heart do a dog like this, but we are hoping his angel is out there.
