Eddie Ears Shepherd Mix Seattle, WA

Animal Profile: Eddie Ears is an 18-month-old, 54 lb male "Shepherd" mix, but with those epic ears we're wondering if he's actually part kangaroo. He was red-listed at Modesto animal shelter due to overcrowding and arrived in Seattle via START rescue transport. At the shelter, he was evaluated to be social and friendly, energetic, playful with other dogs, and cautious meeting goats.

Foster Update:
Eddie is the epitome of a carefree pooch; he radiates playfulness, happiness, and energy. His infectious enthusiasm for romping is sure to entice any dog to play. When outdoors, he's in his element! Eddie is capable of spending countless hours frolicking on the trails or with his fellow canines. Inside, he transforms into a calm and affectionate companion, seeking cuddles on the couch and ear massages. Eddie loves his crate and will retreat there for relaxation and naps. He'd be a great work from home buddy! As he has matured, his long snout and lithe body suggest the possibility of some sight hound in the mix. He does have prey drive, and will need a home without cats or chickens. His exceptional speed makes him an ideal running partner; it would be great to see him hit the trails!

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay

/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
