Durango Shepherd Mix Las Vegas, NV

WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in.

Durango is about 1 yrs old and weighs about 42 lbs. Unfortunately, he came into a shelter as a stray so we have no back history, more will be known about me soon.

FROM HIS FOSTER: Durango is an energetic young dog. He is housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door at our home. He wants to play but our dog is older. He does need to be crate trained, as he does not like to go into in a crate.

Durango will get along with young dogs who will engage with him. He really enjoys playing in the outdoors exploring and running. He uses the doggie door to let himself back in when tired. He knows sit, lay down, wait, free (after you’ve told him to stay), stand pretty (he will stand on his back legs), shake

He learns very quickly.
•He needs a lot of attention/training. Should be ran everyday. Or at least get his mind going with snuff mats or treat puzzles.
•He does really well with small dogs.
•Needs to be slowly introduced to bigger dogs. He is prone to protect his owners by doing a low growl until the owners shows they can trust the other dog.
•Does not like to be left alone. Is not crate trained. He NEEDS a steel crate. the plastic and wire ones he will tear.
•Once he opens up he truly is such a great addition to a family
•walks really well on a leash.

A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet.
