Meet Duke

Meet Duke. This boy of about 6 yrs of age had a home and found himself recently at the shelter in search of a new one. Duke is taking some time to figure out his situation and volunteers are taking it slow with him so he understand he is in good hands. Often dogs can be confused and unsure but once they gain trust, they settle in. Duke appears housebroken but an adjustment time is needed in a new home setting. He is hoping to find a person to show him he has a new beginning ahead of him and can feel safe. Duke has shown that he has a playful side to him so we know he is starting to open up. He is going for short walks to gain some confidence and likes to hear kind words to keep him going.
If you can give Duke a place to decompress, get out of the shelter stress, and all the good things that come with a home, come on down and meet him.
