Meet Duke

Who is looking for an oversized, goofy lap dog? Come meet Duke! He is a 9 month old lab/pit mix who just don't understand his size. He is a "happy all the time" pup who gets along with other dogs and people of all ages. Because of his size he may not be very careful with little kids, but training will help with that! He has not been cat tested. He is house broke, but his foster mom does kennel when he is left along as he does have puppy chewing tendencies. Duke lived most of his puppy life as an outdoor dog and had not been taught his house manners, so we are working on stuff like chewing, counter surfing and "personal space". He really much rather sit on your lap then sit next to you!!! He is looking for a home with a fenced yard or an exercise routine so he can burn off energy.
