Duff was found on E. 1st Street in The Plains. He is a little over a year old and currently weighs 52 pounds. Duff has been neutered and is now up to date on his shots.

Meet Duff. Duff has been waiting in the shelter since January. In the shelter, Duff is extremely stressed by the loud noises and is often crying pitifully in his kennel. Unfortunately this has only gotten worse as the shelter has filled up.

But outside, Duff is relaxed, confident, and playful. He enjoys playing in the yards with volunteers and has done well on companion walks with other dogs. Duff especially loves walking with his shelter girlfriend, Jenny. They have similar play styles and just really let loose together.

Although Duff is a young, strong dog, he does not need endless exercise to have a good life. He also benefits from mental stimulation through enrichment toys like food puzzles, kongs, and bully sticks. With a regular routine and structured exercise and enrichment, we know Duff will be a wonderful companion. We hope he will catch someone's eye very soon!

Adoption fees are $125 ($65 for dogs 7 years old and older) and include dog license, basic vaccinations, heartworm test on adult dogs, and spay or neuter (ARRIVED 1/22/24).
