Hi, my name is Dudley! I’m a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: A bit nervous at first, friendly, playful, goofy, sweet boy
-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history with children - could potentially live with respectful kids ages 12+, but this is up to counselor's discretion
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history - will need proper introductions to ensure everyone gets along
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, could live with another playful dog pending an initial introduction done here at the shelter. He plays really well in our doggie playgroups at the shelter. Would likely not be a good match for shy/undersocialized or senior dogs who prefer being left alone.
-Can do Apartment Living: Could potentially live in a larger apartment (no studios) so long as he gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

Dudley is a sweet boy who's a bit nervous in new situations. We think he may have experienced some physical punishment in his past life before coming to the shelter. He seem to be a bit wary of men/strangers and flinches if you raise your voice or move too quickly. He's in need of a kind soul who will love him unconditionally and show him the world isn't so scary. Once Dudley opens up, he is affectionate, friendly, and a total goofball. He LOVES to play - with toys AND with other dogs. He'd be a great match for someone who has a playful dog already who's in need of a companion.
