"Everything I want is love, and I'll give back ten times more." That's what I feel about him as his foster.

Dude is such a lover. He would love to be near you all day and sleep near you at night. He also loves to play with squeaky toys or chew on healthy bones.

He is friendly with dogs, cats, and all-size humans
He is house-trained
He likes to carry the leash with his mouth when you're tired, lol
He understands "stay," "No," and "come."
He doesn't like the crate or being left in a room alone.
He'll enjoy a home with another very friendly dog who loves to play with

Dude is estimated to be under one year old and still has the puppy energy.

Dude is fostered in Bergen County, NJ.

Dude's back right hind leg looked somewhat different. We took him to the vet, who did an X-ray. He said that it might be from birth or someone kicked him badly when he was just a few months old. He did not recommend any treatment as it is not painful for him. You can only see something when he climbs high, which only happens when he climbs to our bed at night.

Dude arrived at us from a "home" that was an old mobile home without windows or a door on a big property. The owner went to jail, and over 16 dogs were left without food, water, or a way out. The only thing they could do was eat the neighbor's chickens. That's when they called us and demanded to take the dogs from there. And we did.
There were pregnant dogs, dead dogs, and skinny dogs. All are very fearful of people. Some months later, we are still working with a few of them to win their trust.
Dude is very friendly but will need time to adjust. He is afraid of yelling and very loud barking.

Dude is absolutely ready to go home!!
