Meet Duchess
Duchess appears to be a Mastiff or Lab mixed with Great Pyrenees.
She is a senior lady, probably seven to nine years old, weighing 80 lbs.
She was transferred from the Indian Reservation near us where she was
taken when found wandering on a remote road. She had a serious sore
on her foot that has healed, had ear infection that was treated, and an
ingrown dew claw. Then, she tested positive for heartworms. She is
currently under treatment with the "slow-kill method". A recent test shows
her condition improved and we expect it will be negative before long. Duchess is a sweet dog and loves people. She is aggressive towards cats and would prefer to be the only dog in her home. If you want a constant,
loving companion, Duchess is the perfect dog for you. Her adoption fee
is sponsored for an approved adopter.
