Duane American Staffordshire Terrier Long Beach, WA

I'm Duane, a lovable pit mix with a heart of gold. My journey at the South Pacific County Humane Society has been quite an adventure, as I've spent over 550 days there, patiently waiting for my forever home. I'm a wise 6-year-old pup, and I do come with a touch of arthritis, but I'm not asking for much in return.

All I desire is a cozy couch to snuggle on, some cushy carpet to rest my paws, and if you're feeling generous, your bed for a little extra love. I appreciate the simple pleasures of life. While I enjoy walks, I like to take them at a leisurely pace, so a fenced yard would be a nice bonus, but it's not a deal-breaker.

I'm not a lazy dog, mind you; I enjoy sunbathing and the occasional adventure on a good walk. However, I do have a mind of my own, and I may sit or lay down when I decide it's time to take a break during our walks. I absolutely adore car rides, ear scratches, and treats, and if you're one of the lucky few, I might even let you give me belly rubs. I also love giving kisses.

I like to play with other canines. I would love a little sister who likes to have fun but can respect my physical limitations. Probably no dogs under 30#s, I am a pretty big boy.

I have a few rules, No Cats, no birds or small critters. I do not wish to share the spotlight. I am the leading man.
