Meet Dre

BREED: Terrier cross
AGE: 3 years old
WEIGHT: 22 lbs.

? Calling all the LADIES! ?

Dre is a fun little dude. What he lacks in stature, he makes up for in coolness. ?

LIKES: Playing with toys, zoomies, playing with foster pup friends - and treats, of course! He would love a yard and is great in the car. ?

DISLIKES: Being ignored. He will voice his displeasure if he isn’t getting your full attention. ?

Dre prefers the company of the ladies in his home. It’s possible for him to coexist with a gentle male, too, he is fine with the teen boy in his foster home. However, adult men aren’t ideal.

Dre is nervous when first meeting new people, and will need some time to warm up. He would do well with a lady (or ladies) who can give him the time and patience needed, while he acclimates to his new home. No young children, please. Older teens are great, as long as they are dog-savvy.

Being adopted into a home without a lot of stairs will do wonders for Dre’s short legs and low-rider stature. Over time, his little body will thank you for it!

He's fully housetrained, walks on a leash & harness, knows "sit" and "kennel", and will do anything for a treat. ?

PET INTERACTIONS: Dre is “nibbly” ,but sweet, with the kittens in his foster home, leaves the adult cats alone if they give him side eye, is a very good big brother with pups and small dogs, however, not a fan of large dogs.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: He is totally crate trained, and runs right in there after potty breaks because he wants his cookie. ?

Dre is a lot of fun - very affectionate, loves his mom, enjoys pup cups, lays in his foster mom’s arms (like a big baby), does zoomies in the dog run- which is, honestly, just funny because his legs are so short! He is very much a dog that wants to attach to one person strongly. He is a big dog personality in a 20ish pound package.

Dre will make a fantastic companion! We are so excited for him to find his forever home.
