Hiya friends! The name is Dozer and I’m ready to be your new best friend.

I was found outside as a pup and that might have something to do with me always looking for something to eat. You never know when your next meal will be. But this is great news for my new family, since I’m so food motivated I’ll be easy to train in exchange for some yummy treats. I even love carrots.

What’s personal space when you’re best friends? I love to cuddle my friends when we sit on the sofa or lay in bed. When it’s bed time my foster mom puts me in a crate. I would really prefer to sleep in the bed and sometimes cry in my crate. But if it’s a must for you we can definitely work on it together (and maybe you can bring me some yummy treats for all my hard work). I’m working on my house training too, it shouldn’t be too hard to get me fully house trained as long as you help me celebrate (with some treats!) when I use the bathroom outside. I do like to check what my foster mom leaves on the counter, you can help discourage me doing this by making sure you don’t leave anything yummy up there that I can grab.

Right now my best bud is my foster sister Alaska. We love to wrestle and run around together. It’s not a requirement that my family have other dogs though as long as you promise we can adventure lots. As for kids, my foster mom thinks that I’d probably be good! I’m over my young puppy bitey phase and I have a relatively soft mouth. So if you have little ones that want to play, have them toss me a ball or play tug! Hurry though, my foster mom says with a cute smushy mug like mine I won’t be here long!
