Meet Dozer
Dozer is obviously Irish. He is hoping to find a home for St Patricks day, to eat corned cabbage and drink a green beer.
Dozer is an overall super good boy. This buy loves everyone and dogs of sizes. He is a gem. At about 8-years-old, he's an excellent mixture of playful pup and "lap" dog (at 60 lbs).
Dozer recently had a mass removed that was mast cell cancer. He is currently happy and healthy, loving life but his new family will need to keep an eye on any new growths. We hope this doesn't deter someone from giving Dozer a new home.
The only tiny flaw this guy has is he loves his toys a bit too much. Since he needs people who understand his possessive nature, we are looking for a home with older children.
Lets let the Luck 'o the Irish work on this fellow!
We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires.
All dogs are fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and heartworm tested before adoption. Adoption fees are $500 for a dog, $700 for a puppy, and $350 for a dog with special needs or senior over 10 years old. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need.
Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application.
Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
