Meet Dozer
Meet the darling Dozer!
Dozer was adopted last year, but returned due to him not liking the neighbors dogs. Dozer does great with dogs here at the shelter, but can be dog selective. He will be required to go home with a fence.
Dozer has been here for a little over a month, but he has been rehabilitating after his eye surgery, and then he had tore up his paw. He is doing better than ever, and loves to play with his new canine friend Flynn!
Dozer absolutely LOVES ice cubes. His previous owner said he would dart to the kitchen when he heard the ice maker. He is such a cuddler and thinks he is a lap dog. Dozer also likes to play fetch, but would prefer to be inside. He loved all the pets he can get, especially on his belly!
We have been working with Dozer to “leave it” when walking next to dogs, or going past kennels. He responds very well to corrections, but could still use training.
