Meet Doughboy! Adopt Bagel
Voted ‘Most Likely to Succeed’ in his Litter (Buttercups' Bread Babies)
Bagel is the last one in/out and typically requires kisses to move along. A little shy in new situations, pauses before getting into things. He is found laying down allowing siblings to steal his toys or sit on him. He’s ‘everything’ tolerant and will thrive in any environment.
He is weighting in at 50 lbs and will be a medium sized dog. Quiet and constantly stealing teddy bears - he is obsessed with stuffed toys. He hoards toys in his crate, where he sleeps for nap time and overnight. He is in a foster home with working parents, so he spends 8 hours mid-day relaxing in a crate without issue.
Bagel was beating the Texas heat by swimming! He’s a natural and enjoyed swimming laps in the pool or splashing in water bowls. It is 101 in Houston!
Just like an 'everything' bagel - he is likely mixed with all the good boy breeds.

Born 02-15-2023 In a foster home since birth- snuggled, held by children, fostered with cats, socialized with vaccinated adult dogs and crated overnight. Active, friendly and playful. Fully vaccinated with Rabies, microchipped and neutered. Crate trained, sleeps in crate overnight - Housetrained! Forever home should plan basic training (sit, come, stay) and leash skills.
From appearance, the puppies are a true mixed breed - we do not complete DNA testing but based on appearance, energy level and personality. Mama is in our rescue's care - 'Buttercup' appears to be a shepherd chow mix with a long fluffy red coat and is only 55lbs. She has a great personality, calm and friendly -now adopted in New England. Each of her babies deserve a great home too.
