When you meet Dorothy Mae, you will understand why the Good Samaritan who found her estimated her to be a smaller dog. Even though she weighs around 40 lbs, she identifies with the smaller pups and is just as gentle. Dorothy gets along great with other dogs and people of all sizes, and has been respectfully curious of the cats she has met while with us.

The vet said Dorothy is barely a year old but she test positive for heartworms and now has to go through treatment.

Dorothy has been vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption donation is $300 which includes 6 months heartworm preventative meds, free microchip registration, and a safety harness.
