Dorothy here, I have been looking for my forever family for a few weeks now but the right ones haven't come along. I am a black lab mix who is about 8 months old, and weighs 35 lbs. My foster momma says I am a sweet girl who loves to lay in your lap and snuggle up, I always want to be by my people. I do well with the dogs in my foster home big and small, and I love the kids too. I am looking for someone who will love me forever, could that be you?

Our adoption process is usually quick, but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require that the dogs be present at the meeting to make sure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption.

If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and we will gladly consider your family for another dog.
