Have you ever met someone that is happy and cheerful all the time? That someone is Don! He has some disabilities, but he could care less. Don had the bones in his rear hips and legs broken as a baby so one leg has no function or feeling, but he uses it for balance. He sees the vet regularly to keep up with his condition. He is happy, full of life, and a silly boy. Don would do best with a dog buddy as he has a lot of energy, If you are up for the challenge, he would love to meet you. Please no small children, he needs his space for silliness. A dedicated family will receive all the love and devotion they can share if they open their home to this very special boy.

Our adoption process is usually quick, but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require that the dogs be present at the meeting to make sure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption.

If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and we will gladly consider your family for another dog.
