Hello, compassionate soul!

My name is Dolly, and I'm writing this message with a heart full of hope from my spot here at the shelter. Life has been quite a journey for me so far, and I'm hoping you might be the one to help me start a new chapter filled with love and kindness.

At just 8 months old, I'm still just a baby, full of boundless energy and a heart eager to love. But unfortunately, my previous owner couldn't handle the joy and vitality that comes with raising a young pup like me. They brought me here on 03/02/2024, along with my little sister Suze, admitting they were in over their heads.

It breaks my heart to say it, but we were kept outside in a pen with a dog house, left to weather the storms alone. But despite the mud that covers me now, I haven't lost my spirit or my hope for a brighter future. I know I deserve better, and I'm longing for a family who will cherish me as I deserve.

I may need a bit of work on my potty skills, but I promise I'm a quick learner and eager to please. I already know how to sit and lay down, and with your guidance, I'll become the most well-behaved companion you could ask for.

I've heard people say I'm good with kids, though I must admit I do have quite a bit of energy to burn. But with the right family, I know I'll thrive and bring endless joy and laughter to our home.
