Meet Dolly
Hi, I’m Dolly (after the one and only Dolly Parton!)!
My foster mom says that I am a beautiful small breed Scottie/Schnauzer mix (I weigh 16 pounds) and I would definitely have to agree with the beautiful part! I also answer to Mama Dolly since the rescuers saved me AND my 5 very young babies after I was seen being thrown from a car when I was very pregnant. A Good Samaritan took me in and let me give birth in their home and then I was brought into the Forever Yours Dog Rescue program finish raising my baby and learn what true love meant.
I never dreamed life could be so good for me! I get to eat regular meals and go outside through the doggie door and then I get to come inside and nap in comfy places whenever I want to!
My foster mama said I should tell you what my favorite things are. I’m a pretty simple girl…My favorite things are snuggling with my foster mom, sunbathing outside, eating good treats and yummy food, playing with toys and playing with my babies who are still in foster, and leaping into bed at night to sleep with my person. Sleeping alongside my person is so, so amazing!
My foster mom says to tell you that I was an amazing and doting momma and now it’s my turn to find my perfect forever home! I’m excited about this because I am still so young and I have so much love and life to give my new family! I like having other dogs around and toys but I shouldn’t come home with you if you have cats. My foster mom says I love them “too much”. I would also be great with kids! I mean…HELLO I’m Momma Dolly!
If I had to describe myself in one sentence I would say I am a perfect mix of outgoing and snuggle/lap buddy who wants to please my person and be loved unconditionally. If you think it’s you, I would love to meet you!
My foster mom taught me how to use this cool thing called a doggie door! I love to leap in and outside with my toys do “zoomies” through the yard! If my new house doesn’t have a doggie door I will need help with house training. I will need continued assistance with leash and crate training.
I am spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $200.
