This dog is local in a foster home in Oregon
Hello. My name is Dobby. I am almost three years old but you would think I’m still a puppy when I get my zoomies. That’s when I can be a bit of a bull in a China shop. But I’m goofy and sweet as can be.
My mom is so sad to need to find me a new forever home but I am not thriving in the city. I would do best in a suburb/rural/calm environment in a house with a fenced-in yard. I can be quite timid at first but I do warm up fastest in more private situations. I could also use help from a confident dog that can teach me the ropes. I’m a little too enthusiastic for the cats I’m living with now, although with time who knows. With my zoomies I would probably be best not going somewhere with small children as I might accidentally bowl them over.
I know basic commands and am a “smart cookie” according to my mom. I also love to chew and the Super chewer rubber toys from Bark box are my favorites! My DNA is all over the place so I’m healthy as a horse and should be a loving companion for many years to come.
Please give me a chance!
