Meet Dixie

Hi everyone, my name is Dixie! I am a spunky little girl looking for a Forever Home! I am one to match your energy; if you want to snuggle, I will snuggle; if you want to walk and be active, I will be by your side! I am a young senior at the age of 8 years old, so I still have some pep in my step and can be ready to go at the drop of a hat. I do prefer calm dogs to live with and so far when meeting other dogs, I tend to take a respectful approach and read them well. As far as kids go, I think I would like to live with them as long as they are respectful and patient... I am a "senior" after all!

I am about 35 pounds so not really small but not really medium either, I'm 'shmedium', if you will! I have shown off a few obedience skills but I'm up to learning more! I'm told I am great on leash so when it comes time for those walks, don't you worry! PS I love walks!
