Diva Terrier & Labrador Retriever Mix Orleans, VT

Diva....true to her name! This 3-year-old spunky gal wasted no time letting us know that she was, indeed, in the house. When people first meet her, she needs to know what they are about before she deems them Diva-worthy. Her act disappears though when she gets out into the yard, especially if you have a ball and are up for a game of fetch. No matter the weather...if you have a ball, she is putty in your hands. A few other favorite activities of Diva's is going for walks, runs, and hikes.

When she sees a harness and leash in your hands, out comes her big smile and a bounce in her step. Although she came in as a stray, she knows several basic commands. She is very friendly but can get jumpy when excited. Diva has worked hard on mastering the manners befitting her name, and is proud to show you how well she can do. Most of the time we don't have to even use words, as this smart girl is great with a routine. Diva would prefer to be the only dog in the house. While she has made a few male friends, she is extremely picky about what pups she likes, so we think it would be best for her to be the only dog in the home. Unfortunately, she doesn’t want to share the spotlight with cats either.
