Dinah Pit Bull Terrier Mix Oakland, CA

Learn more hereSweet Dinah came to the shelter with a broken pelvis and has been recovering in a foster home. Her foster parents are happy to report that she's a sweet, happy pup who's been a very good patient! Her friendly nature and gentle demeanor make her a joy to be around. Dinah's mellow temperament allows her to fit seamlessly into any home environment. She's smart, picking up on cues quickly, making her easy to train (right now she's mastered 'sit' and 'wait;' she's working on 'shake' and 'spin').

Dinah's fosters say she's got it all:

House-trained: Dinah is great at asking to go outside when she needs to. No accidents!
Crate-trained: Dinah sleeps through the night happily in her comfy crate. She's also happy to nap in there during the day. Right now she doesn't like being left alone too much, but she's working on that with her foster parents!
Sweet & mellow: Although she can get excited about her favorite people coming home or dinner time, most of the time Dinah is happy to chill, soaking up the sun and catching up on her beauty rest.
Easy on the leash: Dinah loves to go on sniffaris around the neighborhood; she walks nicely on the leash and rarely pulls.
