Meet Diesel - ADOPTED
Meet Diesel IN NEW ENGLAND !
This little munchkin is an approximately 12-week-old lab mix puppy. We think there may be some Great Pyrenees in the mix – but whatever it is…we know he is a whole bunch of cuteness!
Diesel weighs in at about 25 pounds but we are pretty confident he will grow into his name !! Diesel arrived in foster care recently and has been adjusting wonderfully with his foster family. He has a FANTASTIC playful personality.
Diesel has been doing well with his house training but will need someone to continue to work with him as he is still so young. He has learned quickly where the treats are and happily sits for them upon finishing his business.
He has been an absolute gem with the kids in his foster home where their ages range from 9-12. He loves nothing more than rolling around with the kids and dogs by his side. Diesel is a happy go lucky guy that will enjoy playing each day in a yard of his own.
He has been learning from the foster’s resident dog. He has been playful and respectful of her. Diesel is refining his leash skills, but he does not pull while walking. Instead, he prefers to make “stops” along the way and relax in the grass
We will continue to update as we learn more about this wonderful little man.
Diesel will need :
*Another dog to play with regularly for socialization, whether it be a “friend” or another resident dog.
*A fenced yard to romp and play
*Someone home more often than not as he is such a young boy and will need to bond with his people.
*Someone to continue his training and socialization
*Someone to give him unconditional love
Diesel would love a home with kids - however children should be over the age of 6 yrs.
Rescue is more than a verb. It's a promise. Dogs come with a variety of needs - some behavioral, some emotional, some medical. When approved applicants rescue these dogs by adopting them, they take on whatever comes with the dog. This is what it means to rescue.
GHR ONLY ADOPTS TO ADULTS OVER THE AGE OF 25 AND PUPPIES TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE TIME FOR THEM.
It doesn't matter where the pups are from; it only matters where they live the rest of their lives.
