My name is Diesel. I am a 3-4 year old, approximately 40 pound, VELVET God. Truly -- I am STUNNING. I am referred to as: Diesel Baby, Boyfriend, Love Bucket, Velvet God... I mean, how could I not have a huge ego? I am trying to stay humble.

I was returned back to the rescue the week of Thanksgiving due to no fault of my own. I am truly devastated to be back to the loud kennel. I really miss being in a home where I can lounge on beds and couches and play with my toys. I did not get much socialization in my prior home (humans or K9's), so I am looking for a patient family that will take their time with me and understand being around 2 and 4 leggers is all new to me. I promise your investment of patience and time in with me will pay dividends. I am ready to be YOUR best friend and CHANGE your life.

I don't want to brag but I am pretty amazing. Yes, I am clearly ADORABLE but I also know sit, stay, and paw (on both the left and right side). Like the majority of the world, I am VERY motivated by treats and can and will learn anything for a treat. Once comfortable with you, plan to be showered with kisses -- literally. BONUS: I walk well on a leash!

I am shy at first as being back at the kennel is a bit confusing to me but as I get to know folks, I am very comfortable with them. I am not aggressive at all - simply working on being comfortable in my own fur. I will benefit from ongoing training as I can get jumpy when I get excited. I mean -- don't we all?

I am good with kids that understand I need time and that will not pull or tug on me (over 10-12). Again, I am not aggressive but just learning to be able to trust and feel comfortable in my own fur.

I am as loving as I look. My goal in life is to be loved unconditionally and love unconditionally. My heart will melt your soul. I guarantee it. Let's rescue each other!
