Meet Diego
Due to the recent fire at our shelter, all of our animals are in foster homes. All animals are still available for adoption, please submit an application online so you can meet your new best friend!
Diego’s foster mom says:
Diego. 16 pounds @ 9weeks. He knows he’s a big dog. (Just in a little body for the time being) he is 1/2 Cane Corso and 1/2 Dogo Argentino. So, all Mastiff. Diego was given up literally after the evacuation of our own PAWS shelter animals on the night of the fire. He is filled with pure joy and is an aspiring side kick.
He is incredibly sweet and very, very intelligent. He knows sit, come, goes up stairs, well on his way with potty training and very good leash skills. He is still working on going down stairs. Diego is not a hyper dog, he likes to wander, is curious, and will make a fantastic pet for the right people.
The right people will be those who are prepared to work with a giant breed dog who will be one step ahead of them and 100 - 130 pounds. Continuation of training and socializing him is encouraged. He is fostered in a home with cats and dogs. He thinks everyone is his friend and wants to play. He's learning manners -when the cats hiss if he gets a little too much, he backs off. He is not an apartment/condo kind of dog and a fenced yard will be a very good idea so he can meander around his space.

• Puppy (6 months and under) -- $300.
• Adult (Dogs over 6 months of age) -- $275.
• Senior (Dogs over 7 years old) -- $150.
