Meet Diamond Girl

Diamond Girl came to TAPS with a skin condition that we are currently treating. We can't wait to see her blossom with a full coat! Someone has worked with her on basic commands in the past since she appears to know sit, down, stay, leave it and drop it. She loves to go on walks, sniff around the play yard and just spending time snuggling with our staff and volunteers. She is food and treat motivated and does great getting leashed up to go on walks. She loves to play catch with her stuffie in her kennel and the staff thinks she'd be a great lap dog!
"Whoever thought diamonds were a girl's best friend has never had a dog."
This sign is displayed inside TAPS, and I was fortunate enough to bring my daughter with me to volunteer last week. She saw the sign and had to make sure I saw it. When given the opportunity to choose who we would photograph, she chose this sweetheart, and recounted the saying. I don't know about you all but I wholeheartedly agree.
She is super silly and cute and had us cracking up during our visit. She couldn't get enough of our scratches, and belly rubs, and hugs, and we couldn't get enough of her!
Diamond weighed 44 pounds at her last weigh in
