Please meet Dexter! He is an adorable guy who is in search of his forever home!


Dexter loves to play fetch with sticks or balls, he enjoys going on car rides (especially when he can stick his nose into the fresh air!), and he LOVES treats.

A home with a fenced yard would be ideal, as that allows Dexter to get in some serious ball playing time, which he loves!

Dexter has been known to do ok with other calm, well behaved dogs, but it is unknown how he would do with other high energy dogs. Dexter has been around cats and has been curious, but respectful of them. If going to a home with another pet, Dexter would need to be fed separately from other furry friends as he prefers to dine alone.

Dexter is currently in training working on his leash manners when encountering other dogs, and being able to calm as he can be quick to arouse. His adopter will need to be committed to working on these issues, be patient and give him time to settle into his new environment as he has experienced many transitions recently. Dexter would benefit from a structured routine

We adore this sweet guy, and would love for him to find his forever home. He really is quite sweet- he is a young guy who will thrive in an experienced home where he can get lots of exercise.
