Denahi Belgian Shepherd / Malinois Grand Island, NE

Denahi was found roaming the streets of Texas as a puppy. He was skinny and his paw pads were severely burned. The Good Life Rescue stepped in to help Denahi and he has grown into a happy healthy young dog over the last several months.

Denahi loves to play with other dogs. He takes a couple of minutes to come out of his shell and might even come off grumpy towards new friends at first. Give him a little time and he will have a new bestie in just a few minutes. Once his walls come down, he loves to wrestle and play!

Denahi spent time in a home with a cat as a small puppy and did great. It’s been a few months since he has been around a feline friend for long periods of time. However when briefly introduced to a new cat, Den accepted that the kitty was in charge. With proper intros Denahi has been great with all of the other animals he’s met, even chickens!

He loves the activity and action that kids bring! He often will follow the kids around waiting to see what mischief he can take part in too. Sometimes if he wants to play with little humans he will bark at them, which can be a little scary, Denahi has a big bark. But he is also a big cuddle bug, he likes snuggling on the couch watching cartoons too.

Den is both kennel and potty trained!

Some of Den’s favorite things are toys that squeak, chew toys, playing fetch, wrestling with other dogs, treats, walks, playing outside, snuggling on the couch. Denahi likes almost anything as long as he gets to spend time with his people, because that’s what he likes most of all.

Denahi (Den or Denny) is a silly, silly boy. He will make you laugh all the time with his antics and goofy behaviors. He is a talker too! He always lets you know exactly how he feels. Denny might be pushing 90 pounds but he is still a puppy with many puppy behaviors. He is smart and knows several commands but sometimes you have to ask him more than once. He continues to learn new things and can be taught so many more tricks to impress your friends. He is naturally good on a leash and he loves to meet new people on walks. He is curious and likes to explore too. Denahi loves his people hard. He will be your life long faithful and loyal friend.
