Dee - adopted! Border Collie Mix Duluth, MN

This little pixie is Dee. Joyful. Gentle. Playful and athletic. Border Collie mix born in August 2023, currently 28#, likely headed to 35-40#. Cuddly. Sharp as a tack, as Grandma would say. Speaking of Grandma, she would compare Dee to a rose. With a little tender loving care, she will become the most beautiful flower!

Dee is a thoughtful girl who wants to connect deeply with her person. Her personality is emerging and it SO fun to watch. Looks to other dogs for guidance when unsure. Meals, treats and licky mats in her crate have made it a favorite spot. She walks well on leash and looks forward to outings with her best human friend right by her side. Delights in time outside, being silly with her foster siblings and enjoying the sunshine.

The ideal family for Dee is patient, loving and kind. They will expand the world at her pace with socialization to new people and places. They will marvel at her adaptability and desire to please! Her new family:

-has a fun, friendly dog that Dee can learn from;
-is dedicated to mental and physical activity each day;
-enjoys training of any kind: basic obedience, tricks, or anything new;
-offers a fenced yard or history of keeping dogs safe on leash*

Dee can live with older kids. She is curious but not obsessed with kitties after minimal interaction so far.

Dee is being fostered in Brainerd, MN.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Dee's adoption fee is $400 + MN sales tax. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines.
