Decker Great Pyrenees & Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Trenton, MO

Decker was sadly relinquished by his owners. He is very sweet, but extremely protective and loyal to those he loves! Decker will need a specific home that is willing to work with his needs. He is a livestock guardian breed and he uses his instincts to protect his family! He also has long hair and will need to be groomed regularly.
Decker is a great dog, so come in and meet him!

Update 8/31/23: Decker has been with us for almost a year now, and he is so ready to go to his forever home! This boy is so incredibly sweet and loves a good bum scratch! We all love Decker, and know how much of a good boy he is! He is 100% potty trained, and has been since the day he came to us! We would love to tell you his story, and give you a chance to take home the best dog ever, just come see us!

Update 10/25/23: Decker was groomed today at Pet Central here in town, and they said he did great! (New photos added of his fresh look!) He wasn’t a fan when they were dealing with his mats, which is completely understandable, but he did very well overall! He’s such a great dog and he deserves a great home!

Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is fixed, wormed, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and is tested for heartworm (if old enough). Dogs from GHAS will also come with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet dog/puppy food to get you started!
