Hi there. I'm Darla. I'm a sweet lady who will never leave your side. I was abandoned, scared, and hungry. I'm so incredibly lucky that a police officer swept me away and took me to the shelter. I've experienced love like I've never felt before. I'm very reserved, but once I know that I can trust you, a smile will always be on my face. I love to snuggle and climb on your lap. The staff thinks that I will do best in a home that's patient, calm, and quiet. I'm accepting applications for my new best friend!

All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and heartworm tested prior to adoption. We can not guarantee if a dog will be good with children, dogs or cats. If you currently have a dog a meet & greet will be required. To do this safely and effectively your dog will need to be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations prior to approval of a dog adoption through Boone Area Humane Society.
