Darby Doo Pointer & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Peoria, AZ

We first met Darby when she was a small puppy around 2-3 mos. old in Feb of 2013. Her family brought her to our spay/neuter clinic, we chipped her for them as we do with many Pit Bulls that come to our clinic to help them find their way home if they are ever lost. A few years later, we got a call that county had picked her up as a stray. The family had been contacted and claimed they had given her away to someone but didn't remember who and were not at all interested in picking her up. We rescued Darby giving her a second chance to find a forever home.

Darby is shy with new people and may need several intros with a potential adopter. Once she is comfortable with you she is a very sweet, fun girl! Darby is absolutely obsessed with balls! She likes other dogs, but would do best with another dog that tolerates her energetic play style. She may do best as an only pet. Her ideal family would take her for walks or hikes, spoil her with games of fetch and have someone to cuddle on the couch with at the end of the day.
