Darby Dachshund & Terrier Mix Madison Heights, MI

Darby is a wonderful senior Dachshund/Terrier mix who is looking for her forever home. Even though she is a senior, she certainly does not act like it! Darby is 11-years young and weighs about 30 lbs. Her owner could no longer care for her and surrendered her to us. We promised to find her a great forever home!

Darby is a super sweet girl who gets along well with everyone. She loves dogs of all sizes. But if they are too large and rambunctious, she needs time to adjust. Darby loves to go for long walks. She is very energetic and playful! She also loves her toys (you will see her favorite old dirty stuffed toy that she must have)! Darby loves to sleep in bed with her owner. She also enjoys car rides. A FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED as Darby loves to run laps around her backyard! She can be scared of loud noises outside so she could bolt if not secured in her yard. Darby does have occasional pee accidents in the house if not watched carefully and let out in a regular basis.

Darby has been vet checked, dewormed, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped and spayed. ADOPTION FEE $175.00.
