Meet Daphne
This sweet girl was found living around a donut shop where she would scrounge for scraps. Being shyly reserved, she would gently approach the occasional customer in attempts for food. One of our caring volunteers quickly befriended Daphne and was able to bring her to the rescue, where she has been fully vetted and is loved. She has come out of her shell even more and continues to let her docile, sweet self shine and warm our hearts :-)
Daphne is an absolute joy to walk, never putting tension on the leash, or walking in front of your step. She loves hanging out by people and playing with toys lightly. She is quick to befriend dogs, particularly the more relaxed ones. It takes a little bit longer for Daphne to ease into befriending humans, but once she does, you'll have a wonderful companion for life:).
Daphne is about 2 years old and weighs 50 lbs. Located in Houston Tx, transport to most states is available for an additional fee.
