Meet Dante

Hi, my name is Dante. I am approximately 3.5 years old and weigh 45 pounds. I am shy but warm up fast. I love belly rubs (check out my video). I need a patient owner who is willing to spend a lot of time with me. Although I enjoy going on walks with my shelter dog buddies that are low-energy, I might do best as the only dog in the home. I love to chase lizards! I will need some training but I know I will thrive with structure and lots of treats (I love treats!). The staff and volunteers love me, but I hope to have my own family to love me soon. I would do best with older kids (13+). I've been at Paws4you for over 2 years, way too long for a handsome guy like me! Please adopt me!
